Our latest product, triple (www.tripleup.com), is an innovative platform in the card-linked offers space (CLO) with an entirely new targeting mechanism that puts marketing dollars directly into the pockets of consumers. We are seeking a VP of Engineering to be the technical lead on this platform and portfolio of companies, a $15B industry growing at 20% per year. This is a massive opportunity in an under-developed but rapidly growing industry – with a company-making launch customer already signed.
As VP of Engineering, you’ll shape the technology of our product suite which includes consumer and enterprise products built on AWS. You’ll drive every phase of the process, including early-stage prototyping through product launch and spinoff company scaling.
The ideal candidate is a seasoned technologist with high-level leadership experience, delivering quality software products in a dynamic environment, as well as recruiting and leading talented engineers at startups, consulting firms, or innovative large companies.
The VP Engineering will:
- Lead the CLO engineering, infrastructure, and data science teams
- Work closely with the President of the company and the CEO of numo on all aspects of incubating the businesses – strategy, execution, culture
- Build a staff of top-notch technical talent
- Set technical architecture for triple’s CLO products
- Interface with technical leadership at key partners to execute technical integrations

- Expertise in both enterprise and consumer technology development
- Expertise in data engineering or data science (AI, machine learning, large scale ETL)
- Technical expertise in application architecture and development, infrastructure, distributed APIs
- Strong back end experience- accessing, analyzing, moving, very large transactional datasets
- Expertise working with 3rd party integrations using modern API techniques
- Experience recruiting and leading high performing technical teams
- Ability to successfully operate in the startup, corporate, and academic worlds
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field
A plus to have:
- Experience in the financial services industry, payments, ad tech, or merchant services
- Masters or PhD in related field
